MDAQ Series Modules

MDAQ series modules are dynamic differential signal amplifiers with high bandwidth.

All are multi-channel and have an analog voltage output. The configuration is done via RS-485 interface. Models with multi-pin connectors offer sensor supply for single cable sensor connection.

MDAQ series modules are cost-effective and space saving, thus the ideal solution for applications requiring hundreds of dynamic input channels. The modules fit into many DEWETRON instruments.

Configuring MDAQ inputs

MDAQ
MDAQ modules are configured according to a building block system. There is a MDAQ-BASE, the “motherboard” which holds up to two MDAQ-SUB modules. The MDAQ-BASE defines whether the conditioned signal output is ±5 V or ±10 V. A range of MDAQ-SUB modules define the supported input signals. Finally a filter board MDAQ-FILT can be added. 
MDAQ-SUB-ACC (Voltage input module)
  • 300 kHz bandwidth
  • Inputs:
    • IEPE® accelerometers or microphones
    • Voltage up to ±10 V
  • Various models with optimized high-pass filters for structural and modal analysis and human body vibration or noise and shock response measurement
  • Optional sensor failure detection
  • Compatible with most sensors of well-known manufacturers (Kistler, Endevco, PCB, Dytran, etc.)
MDAQ-FILTER
  • Several models available, 16 channels per card
  • Independent filter selection per channel
  • Available with 2 or 4 pole filters
  • Bessell or Butterworth versions available
MDAQ-SUB-STG Universal input module
  • 30 kHz bandwidth
  • Native inputs:
    • Strain gauge; full, half and quarter bridge incl. shunt calibration
    • Voltage up to ±10 V
  • Additional signal inputs using DEWETRON Modular Smart Interfaces (MSI)
    • IEPE® accelerometers or microphones
    • Thermocouple sensors
    • Voltage up to ±200 V
    • Resistance Temperature Detectors (Pt100 to Pt2000)
    • Charge sensors
  • Compatible with most sensors of well-known manufacturers (HBM, Kyowa, Vishay, Gefran, etc.)
MDAQ-SUB-V (Voltage input module)
  • 300 kHz bandwidth
  • Native inputs:
    • Voltage up to ±200 V
  • Additional signal inputs using DEWETRON Modular Smart Interfaces (MSI)
