Driver guidance and objective test results
To test the controllability of a vehicle for proving the FS (= functional safety) aspects, according to ISO26262, different driving maneuvers with simulation of sensor malfunctions are performed.
The FS test system generates objective measurement data of the controllability of a vehicle, when a malfunction is simulated in the vehicle. It provides driver guidance for predefined maneuvers and it automatically determines lane deviation or delta yaw rates during those maneuvers. It is the first available test tool that combines synchronized measurement of all vehicle data with high precision position data of the vehicle and ABS/VDC internal data via XCP.
The system architecture ensures comparable and reproducible tests with driver guidance to drive predefined maneuvers. You can also record your own maneuvers.
